Exam Information for all medical and clinical science professions
The AIMS Professional Examinations are conducted twice a year in March and September using
online remote proctored software. Remote proctoring involves sitting the
exam under live supervision using your computer’s webcam and your
mobile phone in a suitable location with reliable internet connectivity.
NOTE: To apply for the AIMS Professional Examination, you
must complete the document assessment in Stage 1 and be assessed as eligible to sit the exam.

Once your enrolment has been confirmed, you will receive notification from our third-party examination service provider of your practice test code, online trial examination date and time (usually completed within 2 weeks before the official examination), and the date and time of your official online examination by:
- The second week of February (for March examinations)
- The second week of August (for September examinations)
