This service is ONLY for applicants who have already had their assessment of professional skills and qualifications conducted and finalised.

Once an assessment of professional skills and qualifications has been completed it will remain valid for three (3) years from the date on the Stage 1 Skills Assessment Results Letter.
After the assessment of professional
skills and qualifications has been conducted and finalised some
applicants may wish to add further documentation, qualifications and/or
work experience which was not provided in the original assessment.
We do not provide skills assessment renewals service.

Guidelines for Assessment of Professional Skills and Qualifications
Option 1.
Amendment - experience/qualifications obtained prior to the date of the original assessment

Option 2.
Second Assessment - experience/qualifications obtained after the date of the first assessment

You will be required to submit a request via email to [email protected] for an amendment to your original Skills Assessment Results letter.
We can only provide an updated assessment letter if you are within the three (3) year validity period from the date of your original assessment letter.
The AIMS Assessment Committee will process the additional
information and should it be relevant and accepted by the AIMS
Assessment Committee, will amend your original skills assessment results
letter.

You will be required to make a new application for assessment.
We may have kept your academic transcripts and employment letters on file so you may not need to resubmit these documents again.

Email colour scans of your additional supporting documents to AIMS and include a completed payment information form to [email protected].
Please allow between 16 weeks to 6 months for processing (depending on the time it takes AIMS to verify any new credentials submitted).

Email the relevant Skills Assessment Application Form and include the following:
- Colour scans of any additional supporting documentation you wish to have assessed (i.e. work experience and/or qualifications);
- Colour scan of your valid English language test report form (issued within the last three years);
- Colour scan of your valid passport bio-page;
- A recent digital photograph taken within the last 6 months
against a plain light coloured background. Self taken photographs will
not be accepted.

You will receive an amended Skills Assessment Results Letter by email. The three (3) year validity period for the amended assessment results will remain unchanged.

You will receive a new Skills Assessment Results Letter by email with a new three (3) year validity period.
If you have sat and passed the AIMS Professional Examination we will include this qualification in the new letter.
